Details -
The Church Website Project provides a website built from a basic template, as shown in the Sample Site section. The process of getting your site online is pretty simple. You supply pictures and text as needed, and once a domain name has been acquired the site can go online very quickly. And we are here every step of the way to assist you.
So what do we need to get started?
Pictures - There are several places where pictures are required (such as the page headers, the different pictures near the top of each page), several places where pictures are optional (such as the Staff section), and the text that you want throughout the site. For the pictures, you can email them to us or send them on a cd, in jpeg format (Don't know what jpeg is? Don't worry, we will help!), or you can mail or bring the pictures to us and we can scan them to get them into digital format. We can also help you obtain pictures from other sources if you want.
Text - The website is all about communicating, so you will supply the text to go on the different pages. Sometimes it's hard to come up with that on your own, so we can help you with that if you want.
Domain name - The domain name is essentially your website's address on the Internet. If you already have a domain name we can use that, or we will help you choose and secure one.
What happens when we need to grow?
In time you may decide you need more from your website. When that time comes, we will continue to support your needs. You may want to set up a prayer list support system, post sermon notes online, whatever you might imagine. We can provide custom development, priced on a case-by-case basis |
